1. Standard payment structure
Unless agreed otherwise, Tinkoor projects are paid 50% in advance to start and 50% when the approved website is ready to launch.
2. Before work starts
If you cancel within seven days of paying the advance and Tinkoor has not yet started design, copywriting or development work, you may request a refund of the advance.
Any domain registration, premium asset, software licence, paid stock media or other non-recoverable third-party cost already purchased specifically for your project will be deducted from the refund.
3. After work has started
Once work has started, the advance is normally non-refundable because production time has been reserved and project work has begun. This includes research, content drafting, design customisation, image preparation, development or other project-specific work.
4. After a design or working website has been delivered for review
Once a meaningful design draft, working website or substantial project output has been provided for review, the advance is non-refundable. If you decide not to continue, you will not be required to pay the final 50% unless separately agreed work has already become payable.
5. After final approval or launch
No refund is normally available after the final website has been approved, launched, transferred or made available for production use.
6. If Tinkoor cannot deliver the agreed service
If Tinkoor is unable to complete the agreed project for reasons within our control, we will discuss an appropriate remedy. Depending on the amount of work already completed, this may include a full or partial refund of fees paid for undelivered work.
7. Delays caused by missing client input
A project is not considered undelivered merely because it is delayed while waiting for content, approvals, access, feedback, photographs or other information required from the client. We will make reasonable efforts to resume an inactive project when the required information is received.
8. Change of mind or change of scope
The standard package is based on an agreed profession-specific design direction and scope. A change of preference after work begins does not automatically create a right to a refund. We will first try to resolve reasonable changes within scope. Larger changes may be quoted separately.
9. Domain, hosting and third-party purchases
Domain registrations and other third-party products are generally non-refundable once purchased because the relevant provider may not return those charges. Where ownership can be transferred, we will reasonably assist after outstanding payments and transfer requirements are satisfied.
10. How to request a refund
Email hello@tinkoor.com with your name, business name, invoice or project reference and the reason for the request. Approved refunds will be returned using a practical payment method and may take several business days to appear depending on the payment provider or bank.
11. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian consumer law.
